POSITION POSTING: 2/18/2009 NURSE ASSISTANT TRAINING INSTRUCTOR Job Objective: The purpose of the job is to demonstrate and teach quality patient care to nurse aide candidates in both the classroom and clinical setting. Hours: Flexible (Days) M, T, W, Th, F; 2-5 days/week; 4-6 hours/day; 120-152 hours/course; 3 or more courses/year; fill in for another instructor. (Evenings and/or weekends) M, T, W, Th, or Sat/Sun, 2-3 evenings/week/weekend; 4-6 hours/night, 120-152 hours/course; 3 or more courses/year; fill in for another instructor. Duties and Responsibilities: Education: Registered Nurse with a diploma or a degree. Professional License: Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in Wisconsin. Experience: Minimum of two years experience working as a Registered Nurse, one year of which must be in the provision of long term care. (This is required by the State of Wisconsin) Experience in teaching adult learners.
