How to register

The Lakeland Chapter Health & Safety classes are available to anyone in the community. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for ALL classes.  Early registration is recommended due to size limit of each class. Please read Terms and Agreements listed below before registering.

Ways to Register for Community Classes:

Online:

  • Please register online at least 48 hours in advance of the course. If registering for a course within 48 hours, please call 920-227-4290.

Phone:
Call the Health & Safety office Monday – Friday between 8:00am – 4:30pm at 920-227-4290.  Method of payment: Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover.

Mail:
Print off registration form located at the bottom of the page.  Complete registration form and mail with payment to:

In-Person:
To register for a class in-person, stop in at the Health & Safety office Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 4:30pm with payment.  See address listed above.

*No persons will be denied service for inability to pay for a basic level course fee.  Please call the Health & Safety Office for additional information- (920) 227-4290.*

TERMS & AGREEMENTS

You may transfer your registration to another class ONE TIME ONLY by calling the Health & Safety Services office at least two (2) working days prior to the day of the first class session. Transfer classes must be taken within three months of the original scheduled course date or you will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.

If you are unable to attend the course, a refund will only be issued for cancellations made at least two business days prior to the start of the course, less a $5.00 cancellation fee. Students who do NOT attend class and have not cancelled prior to the class are not eligible for a refund. If in an emergency, you are unable to attend class, you must call the Health & Safety Services at 920-227-4290 the day of the class and leave a message. Substitute or alternate participants will be accepted with prior approval from the Health & Safety Service office.

Course Cancellation by Chapter:
We reserve the right to cancel any course due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or cancellation by volunteer instructors.  The Health & Safety Services office will notify participants by phone as soon as possible if cancellation is necessary.  A full refund can be made if a student cannot reschedule from a course cancelled by the Red Cross Health & Safety Services office.

What’s Next?

  • A confirmation card will be mailed once registration and payment have been received and if time allows.  Texts will be provided at class or may be picked up prior to the class or can be mailed if shipping fee is included in payment.
  • Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended for all courses.  Class exercises, practices, and demonstrations often take place on the floor.
  • All one day classes over 5 hours will receive a 30 minute lunch break.
  • Many courses include practice sessions requiring moderately strenuous activity.  If you have a medical condition, disability, or any special needs that might prevent you form taking part in the practice sessions, please call the Health & Safety office at 920-227-4290 before registration.
  • Attendance is required for all sessions!
